Bangkok, 4 April 2019 – H.E. Wissanu Krea-ngam, Deputy Prime Minister, recently presided over the Thailand International Film Destination Festival 2019 (TIFDF2019) awards ceremony, also attended by H.E. Weerasak Kowsurat, Minister of Tourism and Sports.
The ceremony, held in Bangkok on 2 April, 2019, was also attended by international film makers and Thai film actors and actresses.
This year marked the seventh edition of the event, which promotes the production of foreign short films in Thailand among new generations of film makers.
Film students and young film makers from 77 countries took part in this year’s project, with the focus on the beauty of Thailand’s emerging secondary destinations.
